Maui Banyan G406

We rented two condos from Maui Condo and Home at the Maui Banyan in March 2023. Working with the Maui Condo team was very satisfying. From the initial calls to check availability, through to our arrival and stay, the Maui Condo team provided excellent customer service. They are a great crew to do business with!

Excellent stay. All the comforts of home but right across the street from an amazing beach! Exactly as described...everything was in good working order, clean and well maintained.

Disappointing. This condo needs updating to justify the rental fee charged. One sliding door is off its track and cannot be used. As well the storage door won’t close properly. One toilet paper holder is inoperable. In general this condo requires maintenance. The elevator stopped at least three times in the 7 days we were here, once when we were in it. The front desk personnel were less that helpful, telling us repeatedly to contact the people we reserved the condo from. It would be nice if the condo rental included a designated parking spot.

wifi and tv not working on arrival, had to crawl around and get everything plugged in. The cost is getting quite high for what you get. Pools were in nice condition. Furniture is very uncomfortable.Beach chairs and umbrella were broken.

Great location, fully stocked with necessities and the little extras for the beach were great.

Bugs in unit. Called to get a reimbursement for some of the stay since I couldn’t use the first bathroom. They sent someone to look and wrote me a letter that they put traps out. No phone call back or reimbursement given. After the traps were put out, there were even more bugs and bigger ones. I have photos to prove it.

On top of that, the AC can only be on 72 so it was hot the whole time, even with the fans. I really wanted to give a better review.

First impression of the condo was great overall the place is nice has a great kitchen but once we started to settle in we noticed that the place is infested with cockroaches and termites. They were all over the kitchen appliances and utensils and would get in our food. We couldn’t get a refund for this place so we had no choice but to stay.

This condo worked great for us! Everything was in working order and we never had a single issue during the entire stay. Being literally right across the street from a great beach was perfect for us. The owners had closet full of beach accessories (chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, boogey board, and some snorkeling equipment). We only used the first 3 items, but really appreciated not having to purchase them when we arrived. Having 2 bathrooms and terrific showers was really nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes, pans, and utensils you can think of. Overall, a great place.

This was in a good location, both in the complex and in the area. Close to the beach and some good restaurants within walking distance. The amenities and furnishings were good. Parking was a little tight but manageable. We could see some of the ocean and lovely morning views from the lanai. This was our first vacation rental experience and it went better than I thought. I would do this again. And I would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at Maui Banyan 406. We loved the location being right across the street from the beach and a very short walk to several restaurants and shops. The condo was perfect for our stay. The beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, beach bag) was exactly what we needed to enjoy some time at the area beaches. Be sure to check out the "Cinnamon Roll Place" for a fresh breakfast treat.

I have stayed at the Maui banyan at least 6-8 times. Love the location. This is the first time I have used Maui condo and home and rented a 1 bedroom condo. Maui condo and home were very unresponsive. I ran into a couple of issues and tried to get there help, response was basically “too bad” even something as simple as not having any dish towels. Told them on Monday- there response “ we will have somebody bring some over right away” when Friday rolled around and still had not heard from or seen anybody I bought my own. First condo I have rented where there were no pool towels, beach chairs or umbrellas- their response “ we don’t provide those, it’s a legal issue? Pool towels??? The condo looked like it had been outfitted from a couple of garage sales, clean but very underwhelming. Plus it costs $350.00 more than I had ever payed for a two bedroom/two bath. Love Maui, coming back in March and October, but would not use these guys again.

Great accommodations, clean upon arrival, no issues

It was a one bedroom with sofa bed of 4 people.. the first night we attempted to open sofa bed. The frame was broken, help came but to no avail had to wait until morning. in the morning I was old that they could do nothing because it was the weekend. They dropped an air mattress in my door. I never heard from them again.Asked for another room and could only ge with extra money. Oceanview, ha, more like parking structure. Went to get sheets from closet, beautifully folded, very wet.
I know owners don't have to live beach stuff, but there was an unlocked closet full. Almost everything in there was broken. Everything was full of sand.
